The Żywiec Brewery Museum
The museum is located in the old aging cellars, carved out of solid rock, which form the lowest level of the Żywiec Brewery. In 18 rooms with a total area of 1,600 square meters house a collection of unique exhibits that trace the long history of both brewing and the Żywiec Brewery itself.
The tour of the museum begins in the Three Elements Hall, where the raw materials needed for beer production are on display. The following rooms feature exhibits illustrating how beer has been brewed over the decades. To capture the atmosphere of the era, the museum has reconstructed a 19th-century street and a Galician tavern.
Parts of the exhibition trace the history of the Brewery from the interwar period, through World War II and the harsh years of socialism, right up to the present day…
The exhibition is multimedia-based—the entire tour is enhanced by seamlessly integrated flat-screen monitors, narration, and sound effects, making us feel as though history is all around us.
The museum tour with a tasting lasts about 1.5 hours, while the tour of the museum and brewery lasts about 2.5 hours. It will provide you with an enjoyable experience as well as some interesting facts presented in a very “lighthearted” and engaging way.
Admission prices (effective for 2025/2026):
55 PLN – Guided tour of the Żywiec Brewery Museum for adults, including a tasting of beer (0.5 L) or juice;
45 PLN – Guided tour of the Żywiec Brewery Museum for adults with a printed guide or audio guide, including a tasting of beer (0.5 L) or juice;
25 PLN – Guided tour of the Żywiec Brewery Museum for minors (up to 19 years of age) with a juice tasting.
Transport / Travel:
“Beskid Loop” tours organized for groups:

– 8 to 100 people in minibuses or coaches, as appropriate;
